Thank you, Jay. I’ve filed this for future reference. I’m working some contacts at the StarTribune to be sure that the next article that comes out is much more informed than John Ewolt’s in the Business section recently. I sent a letter to the editor about that but I’m not expecting publication. There’s a lot going on in the world and I suppose saving the Terrace pales by comparison, but for whatever reason I feel very strongly about this cause. I’m looking forward to finding other ways to help.

Although I am a big Philly fan and have been visiting the city for decades, still did not know about the Magic Gardens. Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Definitely, need to go back to Philly soon; and, Magic Gardens will be on the schedule.

Great example Jay, thank you. The Green Bay Packers, like Notre Dame University, have managed to create a sports brand that goes beyond local geography. Local Packer fans want to be part of the history, mystique and future of the team. Anything that’s part of the Packer brand nation, the colors, clothes, paraphernalia all give fans a way to belong and be part of something larger than themselves. Early Apple users felt that kind of kinship with others and their evangelism is, I think, one of the reasons that more people in the coffee house I’m sitting in right now are working on Apples than PCs!

Hey, that was a really interesting take on that generation. I feel more hopeful about our world’s future when I read that the new millenials are more oriented toward the group. I found a couple of other notes refuting the idea that the millenial generation will not be big enough to support teh cost of social security on a friend’s Facebook page. Good stuff. Check it out. Hey Jay,
We met at Temple a few weeks ago. I like the photos. Especially of the mosaic house. It reminds me of “The Circle” that Nick Minton build in our backyard here.
